Interior Community Services (ICS) is excited to announce our annual winter clothing drive is back!
ICS’s Options and Opportunities program is hoping to collect over 200 donations of warm winter coats and clothing for those in need in our community before October 24th. The winter clothing collected will be given out at ICS’s Youth Street Outreach location and the Parkas and Pancakes event starting at 10 am on October 24th—along with pancakes.
The Parkas and Pancakes event will start at 10am and run until 1pm at #120-540 Seymour Street on Thursday October 24th. Donations of warm winter wear can be made between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday from now until October 23rd at #120-540 Seymour Street, 765 Tranquille Road or 396 Tranquille Road.
The Parkas and Pancakes winter clothing drive is spearheaded by the Pay it Forward group who attend Options and Opportunities, a Community Living-funded day program facilitated by Interior Community Services.
