Event Description
In this award winning Canadian story by one of Canada's leading playwrights we look at chapter two in David French's monumental Mercer Saga. In 'Of the Fields Lately' older son, Ben, returns home for a family funeral and discovers that his long estranged father is seriously ill. This leads to a well written confrontation with Ben, his father, and his uncle. Although written in the 70's the play captures timeless human conflicts: the characters all discover something about themselves.
