It's time to Camp! And Ride!! The season is coming soon enough, might as well get planning. This was such a hit last year with only a few weeks notice, I guess we better do it again!!
This is the No Turns Missed season-opener and for riders of all abilities. The Idea is to just camp and ride! On one end of the spectrum you can be really quite fresh and new. I'll be holding mini-seminars teaching GPS techniques so you'll never be lost again! Not to mention campcraft, sleeping systems, camp kitchens, packing techniques, tool sets and tire repairs, basic first aid, and water filtration. The works!! Come ask ALL the questions about travelling in the backcountry by bike! Literally show up with everything you think you need and we'll go through it and help you fine tune it all. Oh, and some casual riding if you know, want to ride!!
On the other end, maybe you already have all this totally dialed. That's fantastic, come and show off your kit! We'll have an number of awesome local riders leading rides of all abilities, including some advanced rides if you're looking for something a bit more spicy!!
Along with me doing hands-on presentations all weekend on just about anything you want to know, I'll also have the rolling Truck-O-Products! We'll have Turkana Gear, Primus Equipment, TitanStraps, Baofeng UHF radios, Aeropress Coffee makers, water filter systems and Merch all available for purchase right there onsite!
Cost: $20 per person per night (including taxes and stuff). Stay one, two or all three nights!
Location: The Lost Moose campground just to the east of Penticton. We've arranged for the same giant field as last year and will have it all to ourselves!
