Event Description

Learn to Shred is a 4 week long bi-weekly learn to snowboard program offered to youth ages 14-18. Elevation Outdoors provides all the required transportation to and from common meeting points, equipment rentals, lift tickets, and food during the program. Our volunteer mentors provide support during the learning process and also act as positive role models for participants to learn from about snowboarding and life. Instruction is provided by certified instructors from Big White and with the support of our volunteers ratio's are kept at or below 3:1 to ensure a positive learning environment. Cost for participation is $600 for the 4 week program, and scholarships are available for eligible families to ensure the program is accessible for all.
