Kelowna's Gospel Mission (KGM) is thrilled to announce its 14th Annual Strides Event, taking place on Saturday, May 10th, 2025 at Metro Hub, 1265 Ellis St, Kelowna, BC. This powerful peer-to-peer fundraising event invites the community to walk or run—2km/5km Walk or 5km/10km Run—to help raise critical funds for programs that support Kelowna’s unhoused community.
As summer approaches, the dangers for those living without shelter become even more severe—extreme heat, dehydration, sunstroke, and limited access to safe, cool spaces pose real and growing threats. By joining Strides, you’re not just participating in a walk or run—you’re standing up to protect and support some of Kelowna’s most vulnerable neighbours when they need it most.
Our goal is simple: rally our community, raise vital funds, and save lives. Every step you take will help someone connect to shelter, water, medical support, and outreach services this summer. Registration opens at 9:00 am, and the walk/run kicks off at 10:00 am. All proceeds go directly toward life-changing programs at Kelowna’s Gospel Mission.
