Come Celebrate Summer at “JulyFest”, a Dinner/Dance Fundraiser for the Monashee Community Co-op (Lumby)
Saturday, July 5, 2025
The Monashee Community Co-op is holding “July Fest”, a Dinner/Dance fundraiser on July 5, 2025 to support its move to a new location. The event includes a 3-course Schnitzel dinner prepared by Maggie Lintott, formerly of Hubert’s Restaurant in Lumby, well known for its award-winning European cuisine. Darlene Wolney of Timber Ridge Trails is donating her beautiful facility for this event. The evening festivities includes the band, Rockin’ Horse, known for classic rock, southern and country music. The evening will be kept lively by our local MC, Abby Lagerquist. Come early and bid on great local experiences and gifts at the silent auction.
Proceeds from the fundraiser event and silent auction will support the Monashee Community Co-op, a non-profit community service cooperative that benefits all members collectively —all profits are driven back into the development of the co-op, rather than by yearly dividends. Our mandate includes keeping our prices competitive, expanding our variety and quality of merchandise, engaging more local vendor /consigners and making our community stronger, resilient and healthier.
