Event Description

You’re invited to join us for the Hockey Helps the Homeless tournament, presented by Peacock Sheridan Group, on Thursday, May 22, at the MNP Centre – a high-energy day of hockey for a powerful cause.
This unique Pro-Am tournament gives local participants the chance to skate alongside NHL alumni, with proceeds supporting BGC Okanagan programs that prevent youth homelessness.
Tournament Details:
Location: MNP Centre, Kelowna
Date: Thursday, May 22, 2025
Time: Games begin at 8:00 a.m. and run throughout the day. The last ice time will be at 2:15 p.m. Games are two periods (20 minutes running time, with the last-minute stop time).
Silent Auction: there are lots of great items in our silent auction, which is currently open for bidding online. This includes autographed jerseys, sticks, Vancouver Canucks ticket package, and much more! Visit https://trellis.org/hhthokanagan/auction. Auction closes at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 22.
This year’s tournament will feature Shea Weber, Carey Price (coaching), Brad May, Wade Redden, Rene Bourque, Corey Cross, Todd Simpson and more. Media will have the opportunity to capture action on the ice, speak with NHL alumni, and hear about the work BGC Okanagan does for youth.
