Event Description

The people of the North Okanagan have been through outbreaks, epidemics, even pandemics before. Can exploring our history teach us anything about our present, or our future? Click on the link above to read about how pandemics have affected our city in the past. Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The Museum is also open by appointment - to small cohorts of families, youth, independent learners, and community members. Hours will be Tuesday and Thursday mornings between 10am-noon, and Wed afternoon between 1-3pm. Please call ahead. Note - The Archives are currently open to the public by appointment on Tues-Friday afternoons between 1-4 pm.
