Event Description

KELOWNA Want to feel more confident with your rescue skills and equipment? Did your AST 1 & would like a refresher? Our Companion Rescue course will teach you how to properly prioritize and organize when involved in an avalanche rescue scenario. This course takes place in the backcountry and is focused on practicing, learning and improving techniques for your transciever search, probing and shovelling. We will cover & practice a variety of scenarios to help prepare & train your brain on what to do if you find yourself in a backcountry emergency.
