Players Choice Sports presents a night of comedy with a cause at Dakoda’s Comedy Lounge! Your host, Rosie Grypma, brings her sharp, self-deprecating humor to the stage, and the night features none other than Kwasi Thomas—a powerhouse comic you’ve seen on Snowpiercer, Lucifer, and Animal Control. He’s also a two-time award nominee for his work on Pillow Talk and is headlining Just For Laughs this summer. Add in some of Kelowna’s top local comics, and you’ve got a stacked show. Even better? 100% of ticket sales go directly to Shinerama students supporting Cystic Fibrosis Canada. Shinerama is Canada’s largest student-led fundraiser, and since the 1960s it’s raised millions for CF research, care, and advocacy. Cystic fibrosis is the most common fatal genetic disease among young Canadians, and while treatments have come a long way, there’s still no cure. By coming out for a night of laughs, you’ll be helping fund the fight. Come for the comedy, stay for the cause. This one’s going to be special.
