Event Description

The City of West Kelowna is inviting residents to take part in Culture Days, a national celebration supporting local arts and culture.
From Sept. 19 to Oct. 12, 2025, a wide range of events designed to engage the community and promote accessible arts experiences are taking place in West Kelowna.
Culture Days is part of a bigger initiative for the City of West Kelowna's Recreation and Culture Department, who provide year-round programming for residents of all ages.
Discover these Culture Days events and programs throughout our community:
Blacksmithing Demonstration at the Westbank Museum – Saturday, Sept. 20 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Come by the Westbank Museum at 2376 Dobbin Road for a blacksmithing demonstration with local blacksmith Brayden Cridland. Whether you want to learn more about blacksmithing or you just want to see Brayden make some cool items, this is the event for you. Admission is free, and visit the museum afterwards.
Fall Fair at Paynter’s Fruit Market – Saturday, Sept. 20 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Join us for a day packed with fall fun for all ages at Paynter’s Fruit Market at 3687 Paynter Road. Enjoy the mini-market, grab a delicious bite from a food truck, snap some seasonal pics in the pumpkin patch, get creative with pumpkin painting, and cheer on your favourites in the scarecrow building contest from 2 to 3:30 p.m.! Parking is limited so please bike, walk, or carpool, if possible. Paynter’s is a working farm: watch for uneven ground, tractors, and other hazards. Closed-toe shoes are recommended.
Sculpture Making & Painting – Friday, Sept. 26 and Friday, Oct. 3 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Join program leader Elizabeth for a fun, hands-on art experience where participants will sculpt unique creations with air-dry clay and bring them to life with vibrant acrylic paint. Perfect for families with school-aged kids, this course is a great way to connect, create, and make lasting memories together.
Pre-registration is required for this two-day workshop at 2760 Cameron Road.
