Are you concerned about the air quality inside your home during a wildfire/smoke event? Protect your indoor air quality this wildfire season! Join us for a FREE hands-on workshop to build your own effective air purifier using simple materials.
The City of Kelowna, in collaboration with Simon Fraser University and Interior Health, is offering a series of FREE workshops for Kelowna residents to build their own air purifiers. The workshops aim to provide affordable and accessible solutions for improving indoor air quality. Participants learn to construct simple, effective air filters using readily available materials like box fans and furnace filters. They will also provide education about the risks of wildfire smoke and how to reduce exposure.
