Join us at the BCSSA Summer Leadership Academy in Kelowna starting on the afternoon of Wednesday, August 14th with a keynote from futurist Robert J. Sawyer followed by a barbecue on the Grand Terrace celebrating over 100 years of history with BCSSA. On Thursday morning, we will open with a facilitated conversation with Robert J Sawyer followed by an opportunity to learn with John Watkins, Director of Inquiry & Learning for Change, and Rod Allen, Superintendent of Cowichan. The focus of our learning will be on compassionate disruption to ensure equity and transformation in our education system. On Friday, we will continue focusing on compassionate disruption and educational leadership and later in the morning the Ministry of Education will be with us.
