Art in the Park 2025 – Where Creativity Meets Canada Day Vibes
The Kamloops Arts Council is bursting with excitement (and glitter) to invite you to Art in the Park 2025, happening on Tuesday, July 1st, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Rose Garden in Riverside Park, on the unceded traditional territory of the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc.
Now in its 50+ glorious years, Art in the Park is Kamloops’ longest-running arts event and a Canada Day tradition that brings together artists, performers, and thousands of creative souls for one unforgettable day. This year, we’re featuring over 55 incredible artists and artisans in our juried outdoor show — from painters to potters, woodworkers to weavers, henna artists, jewelers, and more. If you’re looking for unique, local, handmade magic (and maybe a last-minute birthday gift), this is the place to be.
And it's not just about the shopping — you’ll be serenaded and entertained throughout the day with live music, dancers, theatrical acts, and colorful characters roaming the park. It’s like a variety show and artisan market had a beautiful, art-filled baby.
Don’t miss the community booths, where you can learn something new, get inspired, and discover just how awesome Kamloops’ arts organizations really are. Bonus points if you leave with paint on your hands or glitter on your face (it means you’re doing it right).
