The OSNS Child & Youth Development Centre is thrilled to announce the fifth annual Tee it Up for OSNS Charity Golf Tournament, taking place on Friday August 29, 2025, at the prestigious Fairview Mountain Golf Club in Oliver, BC.
This milestone marks five years of support from our generous sponsors and dedicated golfers who have made this event a success. In the spirit of the fifth anniversary, which is symbolized by wood—representing strength, stability, and growth—we recognize the impact this tournament has had in strengthening OSNS programs, stabilizing essential services, and fostering growth for children in our community.
Participants will enjoy a spectacular day on the greens, featuring 18 holes of golf, followed by a dinner reception with prizes and a live auction. SCOREGolf has consistently ranked Fairview Mountain Golf Club, a standout course in the Southern Okanagan since 1925, as one of Canada’s top public courses. 2025 also marks 100 years of operation for Fairview Mountain Golf Club, another remarkable milestone. We are grateful for their generosity in hosting this event each year and congratulate them on this accomplishment.
A highlight of the event is the OSNS Challenge Holes, designed to immerse golfers in experiences that reflect the daily challenges faced by children receiving treatment at OSNS. Golfers are asked to wear oven mitts for their drive to simulate reduced fine motor skills or use noise-cancelling headphones with jarring sounds while putting to understand sensory difficulties. These interactive challenges serve as a powerful reminder of the “why” behind the day.
Every year, OSNS relies on community support to bridge the funding gaps for essential needs such as specialized therapy equipment, innovative approaches to care, and reducing waitlists. Your participation in Tee it Up helps ensure that children and youth across the South Okanagan Similkameen receive the support they need to thrive.
