Caroline Webb feels lucky she didn't drive along Green Lake Road 20 minutes later than she did last night.

That's when a large boulder came crashing down the hill and split the South Okanagan road in two. She said her photos were taken around 8 p.m. on May 20.

"We were the second car on scene," said Webb, who was travelling back and forth to feed her son's cats in Okanagan Falls. "It just reminds me how quick things can happen."

DriveB.C. describes it as a rock slide and reports that the road is closed.

Anybody who needs to travel that way will have to use White Lake Road and Willowbrook Roads as a detour.
