Starbucks coffee lovers in Kamloops and the Okanagan might want to plan a coffee date with a friend this week to take advantage of a limited time deal on handcrafted drinks.

Starbucks Canada is launching a Buy One Share One promo tomorrow, March 29, through to Friday, March 31.

“You buy one grande or larger size handcrafted beverage and get your second one 50% off,” Benton Kiss at the Tranquille Starbucks in Kamloops said. “It’s definitely going to be a busy few days I think.”

The promo runs from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. every day and includes handcrafted beverages only. That means hot brewed coffees and teas, and beverages liked iced coffees and iced teas, which are not handcrafted, are excluded.

iNFOnews.ca asked what he thinks will be a popular drink order.

“That is a good question. People are loving the iced strawberry oat matcha tea Latte, but I feel like we might get a lot of orders for frappuccinos,” Kiss said.

Kiss is looking forward to the busy week ahead and hopes the promo “will bring everyone together.”
