A legacy winery founded by an Okanagan wine pioneer has opened a new location in the South Okanagan.

TIME Family Of Wines, founded by the late B.C. wine pioneer Harry McWatters, opened a new location, Oct. 22, for its Chronos, Evolve Cellars, McWatters Collection and TIME wines at the District Wine Village in Oliver.

“We are excited to be part of the Village’s innovative concept and happy to continue to be part of the Okanagan wine community,” general manager Christa-Lee McWatters said in a press release issued by the winery.

The new space offers indoor and outdoor seating where guests can taste four wines for a $5 fee and experience tastings on the patio as well as in the barrel room lounge area. This weekend, free popcorn bites are available to snack on.

The next few months promise to be festive at the District Wine Village with Oktoberfest running today, Oct. 23.
