After a spring of relatively steady gas prices in the Okanagan they’re starting to edge up, rising by more than 10 cents a litre in some markets.

The change is most dramatic in Kelowna and Penticton.

Kelowna prices are at $1.83.9 today, up from $1.72.9 on Friday. Costco is at $1.77.9, according to GasBuddy.com.

Penticton prices were at $1.69.9 for the past few weeks. By yesterday, June 12, they rose to $1.72.9 then hit $1.79.9 today.

Kamloops is unchanged at $1.72.9 where it’s been all of June. Costco is at $1.69.9.

Vernon’s prices dropped two cents a litre from June 1 to June 2 and have been at $1.67.9 since.

Gas in Vancouver is in the $2.02.9 to $2.05.9 range.

Most Calgary stations range from about $1.42.2 to $1.45.9 while Toronto comes in at $1.61.9 for most stations.
