New Kelowna craft brewery preparing for October opening
KELOWNA - All the paperwork is in place for the next addition to Kelowna's growing craft beer district in the North End of downtown.
“As of today, we have all of our approvals for manufacturing and liquor,” Brad Tomlinson from Jackknife Brewing told iNFOnews.ca today, Aug. 28. “We're just in the throes of construction and won't be open until October.”
Kelowna city council approved the brewery’s application for a “manufacturer lounge licence” last night.
The pub will be located at 727 Baillie Ave., just off Richter Street near Rustic Reel, Kettle River Brewing, Red Bird Brewing and Vice and Virtue.
Jackknife will have 70 seats open from 10 a.m. to midnight and another 21 on its outdoor patio, which will close an hour earlier.
