Big White bistro gets award-winning Food Network chef
Big White has added one of Canada’s renowned chefs to its roster.
Six Degrees Bistro and Underground Pizza, located at the mountain resort, welcomed chef Shelley Robinson as the new culinary director earlier this week.
Educated at Dubrelle French Culinary Academy and Vancouver Community College, Robinson is a TV, radio, and celebrity chef personality. She was the 2014 winner of Food Network's Chopped Canada and a competitor on Top Chef Canada, according to a press release from the bistro.
Over the course of her career, she has been a Canadian delegate for Slow Food in Turin, Italy, co-authored four cookbooks, and been featured in various publications such as Avenue, Western Living, and Eat North.
