Gas is currently cheaper in Vancouver than anywhere in Kamloops or the Okanagan.

It's usually a little cheaper in the B.C. Interior. Earlier this year, Vancouver was declared the most expensive city to fuel up by the Canadian Taxpayers Federation.

But today, July 9, numerous gas stations in the Lower Mainland are selling regular gas for less than $2 per litre, according to gasbuddy.com.

In the Kelowna area, the same gas can’t be found for less than $209.9 per litre – except for Costco, $203.9, where a membership is required to use the pumps.

Gas is even pricier in Kamloops. Costco is selling the cheapest for $209.9 and SuperSave has it for $211.9. It can't be found anywhere else in the city for less than $2.15.9

Fuel can be found relatively cheap in Vernon at $203.9.

And it’s no cheaper than $212.9 in Penticton, but down Highway 97 in Okanagan Falls it can be found for $210.9
