iN VIDEO: Biggest comedy tour in Canada stopping in Kamloops, Okanagan
A famous Canadian comedy tour is stopping in Kamloops and a few cities in the Okanagan on its fourteenth year of touring.
The Snowed In comedy tour is the biggest comedy tour in the country and will be playing in 70 cities this year.
A group of talented, international comedians are hitting the stage to bring the laughs: Erica Sigurdson, Pete Zedlacher, Dan Quinn, Paul Myrehaug, Damonde TSchritter and Debra DiGioVanni.
The tour has performed in Australia, USA, France and Switzerland and received numerous standing ovations according to the tour website.
Audience members must be at least 19 years of age to participate and performances start at 7:30 p.m.
The tour starts in Canmore, Alberta on Jan. 3, 2023.
The first B.C. stop for the funny four-pack is in Golden on Jan. 4 at the Rockwater Grill and Bar. The next evening they are at NATC Theatre at SilverStar Mountain in Vernon, then at Kamloops’s Sagebrush Theatre for the evenings of Jan. 6 and 7.
The comics tour through towns in northern B.C., then drop down to venues on the coast and Lower Mainland before appearing in Vernon to perform at Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre on Jan. 28.
The tour makes a couple of stops in the Kootenays, then goes back to Alberta, returning to the province on Feb. 8 for performances in Revelstoke and Salmon Arm.
Two stops in the Okanagan finish the B.C. part of the tour with appearances at Cleland Community Theatre in Penticton on Feb. 10 and Kelowna Community Theatre on Feb. 11.

Tickets are selling fast, according the tour site, and only single tickets are available for Canmore, Kamloops, PG 6:30, Courtenay, Nanaimo, Campbell River and Port Alberni.
