Heavy snow is expected on the Trans-Canada Highway tonight between between Rogers Pass and Eagle Pass.

For some, spring has already sprung, but Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement warning drivers there could be up to 15 cm of snow tonight, April 15.

A cold front will bring flurries to the region tonight, with the heaviest snow falling around midnight and tapering off to by Tuesday morning.

Environment Canada reminds travellers that mountain weather can change suddenly.
