Dog missing off Coquihalla near Merritt has been found

Snuggles, a bone and a new blanket were waiting for a dog who went missing at Nicola Lake near Merritt almost a week ago.
Clutch, a mixed breed dog, showed up at its owner’s son’s property in the area late last night, Jan. 11. The dog went missing after running into the woods off Highway 5A near Nicola Lake on Jan. 7.
“My son’s neighbour came by because his dog had run off,” said owner Ramona Nicholls. “When the neighbour’s dog came back, Clutch wasn’t far behind him. I think it was the other dog who found him.
"My son was so happy he and Clutch rolled around on the ground together.”
