Two burglars broke into a cannabis shop in West Kelowna nearly two weeks ago and used a garbage bin to haul away their ill-gotten gains.

West Kelowna RCMP were dispatched to a break and enter at Skye Cannabis on Stevens Road shortly after 3 a.m. on May 24, according to a press release from Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers.

When police arrived they found the entire front of the store ripped out. Security footage revealed there were two suspects who used a stolen burgundy Dodge Dakota with two-tone grey bottom to rip out the security gates and get into the store.

Once the burglars were inside the store they used a big wheeled garbage bin to hold the products from the display cabinets and a backroom.

Crime Stoppers provided some of the security footage of the suspects with the hope that a member of the public has some information.
