The most expensive house listed for sale in the Okanagan – and maybe the second highest in all of BC – is the $45.9 million Waterside Farm on Pixton Road in Lake Country.

But another farm on Shuswap Lake is rivalling it with a list price of $30 million.

“This expansive property offers plenty of opulent private spaces to stretch out your creativity and loosen up your mind,” the Sotheby’s International Realty listing says. “Floatplane, helicopter, drive or boat into this world-class pristine destination.”

The 73.8-acre ranch is at 6525 Worrall Rd. about 22 kilometres north of that community off Sunnybrae Canoe Point Road.

“Be prepared to be impressed with two incredible private, turn-key, lakeshore homes with well over 15,078 square feet of combined luxurious living space,” the listing says. “Enjoy a rare Shuswap Lake cove with over 1,200 feet of shoreline and two docks/buoys and a full-service Beach Cabana with a shower.”

Together the houses have 11 bedrooms and 15 bathrooms along with a heated detached six-bay garage with 14-foot doors and a workshop.

The property also comes with five fully serviced RV sites and has a corporate boardroom with seating for more than 12 people.

“This property could be a perfect corporate retreat as it naturally offers complete privacy and high quality adventure activities for all,” the listing says.

The houses were finished in 2019 and 2020. The main house covers 10,383 square feet and the second house has 3,985 square feet.

The property comes with a barn, spa, hot tub, helipad, in-home fitness centre, media room, outdoor kitchen, elevator, wine cellar, grotto and “high end Generac generators for all the buildings and can be lived in off grid very comfortably.”
