Event Description

Conflict between parents and teenagers is normal because the parental desire to guide and protect bumps up against the teens instinctual and normal drive to take control of their own lives.
The intensity of this conflict depends upon personality types, family dynamic sand how communication is deployed to reduce conflict.
This program helps parents better understand this tumultuous developmental stage, adolescence, and how to promote growth by maintaining a supportive, encouraging and empowering relationship with teens; how to treat teens with a high degree of respect no matter how difficult they make this at times.
This phase in family development can feel overwhelming sometimes. Learn how to make the parental role both easier and more productive. Teenagers are amazing, and parents are, too.
This is a free group however participants must pre-register.
This group runs in person April 24 to June 12, 2024. Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
