Hillside Law is proudly from Penticton in the South Okanagan in the beautiful British Columbia. We are currently taking clients from: Penticton, Summerland, Peachland, Naramata, Okanagan Falls, Oliver, Keremeos, Osoyoos, Princeton, Cawston, and Grand Forks.

Called to the BC Bar in 1986, Norm worked as Crown Counsel between 1990 and 2012 during which he dealt with a broad cross-section of criminal and regulatory matters. He is a retired professional forester and currently appointed to the Environmental Appeal Board, the Forest Appeals Commission and the Oil & Gas Appeals Tribunal. Norm has taught courses in environmental law as an adjunct professor, and has lectured extensively on topics of law enforcement and evidence gathering, due diligence considerations and advocacy. An accredited mediator and arbitrator, Norm is an advocate of alternate conflict resolution models including collaborative processes.

Norm’s practice also includes police discipline, criminal law, family and estate matters, and injury litigation. Norm enjoys a variety of fitness and outdoor recreation activities, and is an avid fly-fisher. He joined the Hillside Law team in October of 2015.
