Blake’s practice is litigation-based with a focus on employment law, estate litigation, collections, and corporate litigation. Blake has appeared in the Supreme Courts, Small Claims Courts, and Traffic Courts of B.C. He first moved to Kamloops in 2008 to attend Thompson Rivers University. One year later in 2009, Blake was the starting goalie for TRU Hockey’s Inaugural season. Blake spent multiple years working in the foodservice industry as a bartender and restaurant manager. Blake also has experience in various construction and trade jobs. Blake returned to Thompson Rivers University in 2012 to complete his Juris Doctor in Law. In just his second year at TRU Law Blake was the Internal Vice President of the TRU Society of Law Students.
