Wine Wednesday: What to drink today

Little Farm Rosé
Little Farm Rosé

Little Farm Winery is located in the stunning Similkameen Valley. A small but mighty brand, winemaker Alishan Driedeger has been creating a buzz in the wine world with her micro production, terroir driven wines.

Alishan uses minimal intervention in her winemaking, allowing the grapes to sing their own song. This style makes for a very unique rosé. Not sweet, it is actual savoury! It is a beautiful pale pink colour and is crisp and dry.

Winemaker notes: “The nose shows juicy red fruit like strawberry, raspberry, some orange zest, baking spice and savoury dried herb notes. The palate is dry, crisp and refreshing with bright red fruit, some savoury lees texture and complexity and a long finish with stony mineral notes that speak of the Similkameen Valley.”

Cheers!
