KAMLOOPS - A fire between Savona and Walhachin has air and ground crews working to contain it.

The fire is adjacent to Highway 1 approximately 50 kilometres west of Kamloops and is estimated at one hectare in size.

One helicopter and six B.C. Wildfire Service personnel are working to douse the out of control fire. It is suspected that the fire is human-caused. Currently, Kamloops Fire Centre says they have not been made aware of any structures in danger.
