With the arrival of spring comes tick season in the B.C. interior.

In this week's episode of Wild Wednesday, WildSafeBC wants to help you avoid as many tick bites as possible as you head outdoors.

There are a few things you can do such as avoiding trails with tall grass, wearing full boot protection and using insect repellent.

It's also important after spending time outdoors to check yourself and your pets for ticks when you get home.
