KELOWNA - City Hall will be closed Monday, Oct. 13 to mark Thanksgiving.

On the plus side, if the turkey, or Tofurkey or whatever your festive passion food happens to be doesn't turn out to be edible, the Glenmore Landfill will be open for regular hours, 7:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. This might also work out for folks not ashamed to recruit guests for a little yard work before and after the grand meal.

If yard work isn't what you had in mind to work off the extra calories, Parkinson Recreation Centre will be open Monday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Of course, the City of Kelowna's online and mobile service request systems are always available no matter the time or the day.
