Warm spring continues in Kamloops this week

Blossoms have filled out trees around the city as warm spring weather continues in Kamloops.

KAMLOOPS - After today we are expected to drop back down to seasonal normal temperatures, but that still won’t be anything to complain about.

Environment Canada is calling for a high of 20 Celsius today, April 11, followed by highs of 15 C to 18 C the rest of the week. The normal seasonal high at this time of year is 16 C.

Most nights the low is expected to stay a few degrees above the seasonal normal of 3 C, with only Wednesday night forecast to drop below.

Sunny skies will be overhead most of the week, though some cloud is expected early in the week followed by cloudy conditions Friday. On Tuesday, winds are expected to reach gusts of 50 kilometres per hour.
