EVERETT, Wash. - The Latest on the disappearance of a Washington state couple, presumed to have been killed (all times local):

Authorities say they have found bodies they believe to be a missing Washington state couple.

The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office says they were found in a remote spot north of Seattle near the couple's home.

Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Shari Ireton said at a news conference Tuesday afternoon that suspect Tony Clyde Reed provided information that helped detectives pinpoint the location.

Monique Patenaude and her husband, Patrick Shunn, were last seen alive April 11.

Reed appeared in Snohomish County Superior Court earlier Tuesday and entered not guilty pleas to two counts of premeditated first-degree murder and unlawful firearm possession. He surrendered last week at the U.S.-Mexico border after a monthlong manhunt.

Authorities are still searching for Reed's brother, John Blaine Reed, who had lived near the couple.

One of two brothers charged in the presumed killing of a missing Washington state couple has pleaded not guilty.

Tony Clyde Reed appeared in Snohomish County Superior Court on Tuesday afternoon and entered not guilty pleas to two counts of premeditated first-degree murder and unlawful firearm possession.

His attorney, James Kirkham helped arrange an end to a monthlong manhunt for Reed, who surrendered last week to U.S. Marshals at the U.S.-Mexico border.

Authorities are still searching for Reed's brother, John Blaine Reed.

The brothers have been charged with murder in last month's disappearance of John Reed's former neighbours, Monique Patenaude and her husband, Patrick Shunn. Authorities say Reed and the couple had been involved in a property dispute.

The attorney for Tony Clyde Reed tells The Daily Herald in Everett, Washington, that his client is "here to defend himself" and is innocent of the charges. James Kirkham, the attorney, helped arrange an end to a month-long manhunt for Reed, who surrendered to U.S. Marshals at the U.S.-Mexico border.
