The victims of a fatal crash on Highway 5 last week have been identified through an online fundraiser.

Barriere RCMP, B.C. Highway Patrol and Emergency Services attended to the scene of the collision involving a semi-truck on Highway 5 near Vinsulla, north of Kamloops, Thursday, June 16.

Troy Evans was driving a moving truck to Alberta that day, following the car carrying his wife Natalie, his mother-in-law Daphne, and his two young children.

The fundraiser will be used to support Troy in the coming weeks, says organizer Erin Kotha, in the post.

The online fundraiser can be found here. As of Monday morning, June 20, it has already raised $6,000 towards its $10,000 goal.
