Vernon RCMP are searching for a stolen car that is connected to some recent criminal activity.

Police are hoping the public can help locate a blue 2018 Subaru Outback that was stolen from a home on 33 Street early in the morning on June 5, according to a press release.

The car is connected to some recent criminal activity, but police didn’t share details.

“We’re asking the public to keep an eye out for the vehicle in the pictures,” Vernon RCMP spokesperson Const. Chris Terleski said in the release. "It may still be driving around but there’s a very good chance it has been parked or left abandoned somewhere."

Anyone who has seen the car or has information has been asked to contact Vernon RCMP at 250-545-7171 and quote file 2025-8815. Tips can also be given anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477) or online here.
