A vehicle incident occurred on the Coquihalla Highway today as a snowfall warning is still in effect.

Drive B.C. reports the incident took place between Brodie Siding Road and Exit 238, about 28 km north of Coquihalla Summit.

The southbound lane is closed and delays are expected.

At this time there is no estimated time of reopening.

Environment Canada has continued its warning for the high-elevation highway. Up to 15 cm of snow is expected today, Jan. 19.

Additionally, strong southwesterly winds will cause blowing snow resulting in low visibilities.
