VANCOUVER - One man is in a Vancouver hospital recovering from a stab wound and two others are being treated for bullet wounds after a fight in a suite in the city's downtown core.
Vancouver Police say the incident began at around 8:15 Monday night when officers responded to reports of a shooting in a suite in the Park Hotel Apartments.
The stabbing victim and one of the shooting victims were found in the building and both men were rushed to hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
Sgt. Randy Fincham says a third injured man made his own way to hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound, and all three men are in stable condition.
Fincham says the trio are all in their 20s and are known to police.
He says the violence is likely the result of a disagreement and weapons charges have not yet been laid, but major crimes detectives are still investigating.
