WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue University says a shooting has been reported on its campus in West Lafayette.
A Twitter post from the university in Indiana says the shooting happened Tuesday at the Electrical Engineering Building. The university says it told people to take shelter in place.
Further posts say police have a person in custody and have cleared the building while the area is searched.
A university spokesman couldn't immediately be reached for details, including whether anyone was wounded.
