Ex-Playboy Bunnies to reunite for club's 50th anniversary

LAKE GENEVA, Wis. - Women who once wore the iconic Playboy Bunny tail and ears gather for the 50th anniversary of a former Playboy Club in Wisconsin this weekend.

Former Playboy Bunny Diane Petersen is organizing the two-day reunion of employees of the club in Lake Geneva. Petersen tells the Kenosha News that 117 Bunnies have confirmed they will attend.

She says among those attending will be original Bunnies who opened the resort in 1968 and two Bunnies who were there when the club closed in 1981.

Among those planning to attend is 69-year-old Joy Grossman. Grossman's Bunny name was "Joey" when she worked at the club in the summer of 1970. She calls it "a great experience" and still has her tail and cufflinks.

The former club is now a resort and spa.
