TORONTO - "Candy Crush Saga" and "Minecraft - Pocket Edition" were the most downloaded apps on Apple's Canadian iTunes store in 2013, while the debut record from "The Lumineers" topped the album charts.

Apple released its year-end lists on Tuesday and also named "Blurred Lines" by Robin Thicke as the most downloaded track of the year, ahead of "Wake Me Up" by Avicii, "Stay" by Rihanna, "Roar" by Katy Perry and "Royals" by Lorde.

"Skyfall" was the most downloaded movie and the final crop of "Breaking Bad" episodes was the TV season of the year.

"Inferno" by Dan Brown was the most purchased fiction ebook and "Wheat Belly" was the biggest non-fiction title. "The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fitzgerald was the most popular free ebook.

In the U.S., Justin Timberlake's "The 20/20 Experience" topped the album charts, while Beyonce's recently released digital album was second.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis had the top-selling song with "Thrift Shop" and their hit "Can't Hold Us" placed fifth. "Blurred Lines," ''Radioactive" by Imagine Dragons and Pink's "Just Give Me a Reason" ranked second, third and fourth.
