HARTFORD, Conn. - The Latest on the sentencing of a Connecticut man who pleaded guilty in a recent drug case and has been linked to the French Connection heroin ring (all times local):

A judge has delayed the sentencing of a Connecticut man caught in a 2012 drug bust who authorities say was a player in the French Connection heroin ring of the 1960s and 1970s.
Seventy-five-year-old Alfred Catino of Danbury was to be sentenced Monday in federal court in New Haven. He's facing at least five years in prison.
His lawyer, Frank Riccio (RICK'-ee-oh) II, says the sentencing was postponed a month because Catino took issue with a pre-sentence investigation report that could affect sentencing guidelines the judge will consider. Riccio wouldn't elaborate.
Catino pleaded guilty to drug conspiracy in 2014. He was among 16 people busted for distributing marijuana, cocaine and oxycodone.
The French Connection was a major supplier of heroin to the United States and spawned an Oscar-winning film.

A Connecticut man linked by federal authorities to the notorious French Connection heroin ring of the 1960s and 1970s is set to be sentenced to at least five years in prison in a new drug case.
Seventy-five-year-old Alfred Catino of Danbury was among 16 people busted in Connecticut in 2012 for distributing marijuana, cocaine and oxycodone in Fairfield County. He pleaded guilty to a drug conspiracy charge in 2014.
He's scheduled to be sentenced Monday in federal court in New Haven.
The French Connection was a major supplier of heroin to the United States. It spawned the Oscar-winning 1971 film of the same name starring Gene Hackman and Roy Scheider.
Catino's lawyer is seeking the minimum mandatory five-year prison sentence, while prosecutors are asking for a 10-year prison sentence.
