Kentucky police arrest 2nd of 3 escapees from Tennessee jail

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The second of three men who escaped from a Tennessee jail has been captured in Kentucky.

Bowling Green police spokesman Officer Ronnie Ward tells the Daily News that 28-year-old Matthew White is charged with giving an officer a false name or address after being arrested Thursday on a fugitive warrant.

Ward says White gave his brother's identifying information to officers who found him after getting information about his potential whereabouts. Police contacted U.S. Marshals to verify and learned they had found White.

White escaped Wednesday from the Macon County Jail with two other men. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says 20-year-old Dylan Cecil Ferguson was apprehended Thursday. News outlets in Nashville report Jeffrey Strong remained on the run.

Ferguson faces criminal homicide and other charges in a man's 2016 death.
