A female Penticton motorcyclist was taken to hospital Thursday after colliding with a semi truck on Main Street around 4 p.m. in Penticton.
A witness said both vehicles were northbound. It appeared the semi-trailer pulled into the left lane to begin a right-hand turn onto Carmi Avenue. The Harley Davidson rider continued in the right hand lane and went beneath the truck's front bumper.
Sgt. Rick Dellebuur said the 65-year-old rider was injured in the left leg and head.
