Two more deaths reported at Kelowna care home

Two more people have died as a result of the deadly COVID-19 outbreak at the Spring Valley Care Centre in Kelowna.

That brings the death toll to eight at the facility.

There are now 47 COVID-19 cases associated with the care centre, including 35 residents and 12 who are listed as staff/other by Interior Health in a news release issued today, May 20.

An outbreak at the Orchard Haven long-term care home in Keremeos has been declared over.
