PENTICTON - The Drug Task Force was cleaning up an area of Skaha Lake Road Monday, netting two people allegedly peddling illegal drugs in parking lots.

There were two separate arrests November 25. A woman, 19, was taken away in handcuffs from the parking lot of a hotel in the 2700 block of Skaha Lake Road, arrested for trafficking marijuana and possession of crystal meth. The woman had no prior criminal record and was released to appear in court January 6.

The second arrest took place later in the day. A man from Okanagan Falls, 24, was arrested in a store parking lot, also in the 2700 block of Skaha Lake Road. Police say he was in  possession of four ounces of marijuana packaged for sale, along with trafficking paraphernalia. He was held for court on November 26 then released to appear in court at a later date.

Calvin Louie Senger faces one charge for possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
