Bodies in motion rotate faster when they approach a central point.

So to prove it, physicist Andreas Wahl risks his life with this experiment.

He lets himself be dropped 14 metres towards the ground while attached to a rope with a weight at the other end.

The video of the daring drop has gone viral with more than 1.2 million views so far.
