Drive B.C. has rescinded the travel advisories for the Coquihalla, Okanagan Connector and Highway 8.

The advisories were issued at around 9 a.m. today, Jan. 18, due to black ice and extremely slippery conditions on the Coquihalla from Kamloops to Hope, the Connector from Kelowna to Merritt and Highway 8 between Merritt and Spences Bridge.

Driving conditions on those highways have improved but those routes still have slushy and slippery sections, according to Drive B.C.
